About a year ago I sat down with Sander Holsgens, he found out about me through the crowdfunding campaign I set up a few years ago and has been following me ever since.
Sander is a filmmaker, researcher, professor, co-founder of Pushing Boarders and one of the raddest people I have met in a long time. He approached me to see if I was interested in making a film with him about skateboarding, my life and his life combined.
One of the things that is important to me personally is to leave a legacy. I want my life to be about more than just me and I think I get to do things and meet certain people that could change at least some lives. So we agreed to start filming.
Amongst filming we did at SLS London, at the Blackriver HQ we also went toto Hong Kong for a trip, we were invited by Paul O’Connor to speak at the Lignan University about skateboarding. An awesome opportunity to film, influence people, skate awesome spots and learn more about skateboarding.
